We Got a Baby!!!

While we were visiting the kids for Hannah's birthday party we also took in three soccer games. The sun was even shining! Not a drop of rain-we lucked out:)
As we were getting ready to go home Matt grabbed the basketball and started shooting hoops. So Jerry said, "Hey, let me try it!" After several attempts he decided to give up (football was always his game:)
Just then Beth walked up and proclaimed, "If I make this shot I will have another baby!" (FYI they already have six and she is sure that they are DONE.) Needless to say she made sure that she missed. Next I decided to try my skills and I upped the ante by saying, "If I make this then I'll have another baby!" As fate would have it I made the basket. Not one to go back on my word we did get a baby...
We call her "Caddy" :) She was a pretty penny but hopefully worth it.

Jerry fell in love with her right away. She is a beautiful Pearl White and has 6Liter engine which is big enough to pull our trailer. She also has seats that can be heated and two built in DVD players. We haven't had her long but we really enjoy her so far. So enjoy the pictures of your new sister kids :)

Ashlee and Jeff came for Conference Weekend and we got the Halloween decorations down. Tyler and Ben tried on many of their mother's old costumes. Can't find Rainbow Brite's hair but they sure had FUN!

Baby William makes15

Finally I have something to talk about!!! William Thomas Krebs was born Wednesday August 11th at 6:47am weighing in at 9# 3oz and 21 inches long.He reminds us of Ben when he was little because of all the hair and a few other features. He has Ty-Ty's ears and chin. This is the third time I have tried to add to my blog hopefully the third time is the charm. We have had a lot of fun this past week playing with Ben and Ty and of course holding William.

The Scandinavian Festival in Junction City was held last week. I love to go and can hardly wait each year(I am a Swede). Well I have missed going for a couple of years and so this was the year that I was definitely going!!! (Ops Little William decided to come. Tues. night just as we were going to bed Ashlee calls and says its time I think, hold off for one more hour and I'll call you back. So I packed and got ready and sure enough it was time.) Well that took care of going to the Scandinavian Festival except my brain was figuring things out and on Fri. I decided that Ashlee needed some one on one time with the baby, therefore Ben, Ty and myself headed for Eugene. They jumped on the trampoline, rode bikes, watched TV, and went swimming. About 5 o'clock we headed for Junction City(this is really not a fair for little kids)and to the Swedish Meat Pie booth.(This is the reason I love to go). Jerry waits in a long line and I go to find corn dogs for the kids.

We found the Viking Man and he gave a top to each of the boys that he had made. We connected with Jerry and walked to the opposite end to find the corn dogs and ate our supper in the shade and close to a bathroom(porta-potty). Ben asked what is this??? Do you pee where the poop is??? We asked the kids what they wanted and Ben tells us he wants popcorn and cotton candy. So that is what he got and after a stop for shaved ice, that they loved, we started for the car. We got all strapped into the car and Jerry turns it on and it will not start. A call to AAA fixed that problem and while we waited a train came right passed us and that made the ride worthwhile for the kids. Yey!!! I got to go to the Scandinavian Festival!!!!

The Newell News Goes Online - Edition 1: The Miracle

It is a small miracle that we are doing a blog. We will do our best to keep up a journal of our activities throughout the year. All in the name of Family History. Wish us luck!
